A partir de lo indicado en monografías dialectales y atlas lingüísticos, en este trabajo repasamos los fenómenos fonéticos asturleoneses que se han identificado en Extremadura y evaluamos su grado de conservación en la actualidad. Para ello, dividimos el estudio en tres partes: en la primera, nos centramos en los rasgos fonéticos de origen asturleonés que se han incluido en los estudios dialectales de forma generalizada; en la segunda, analizamos varios fenómenos fonéticos que han tenido muy poco rendimiento y que solo se presentan de forma meramente testimonial en el norte de la provincia de Cáceres; en la tercera parte, estudiamos tres rasgos fonéticos que han sido considerados asturleoneses en unas ocasiones y castellanos en otras. Astur-Leonese phonetic traits in the popular speech of Extremadura

Starting from dialect monographs and linguistic atlases, in this article we examine the phonetic traits of Astur-Leonese that have been identified in Extremadura and assess their current vitality. For this purpose, we divide the study into three parts: in the first, we focus on the phonetic features of Astur-Leonese origin that have been included in general dialect studies; in the second, we analyse various phonetic phenomena with a low functional load and which reveal merely a token presence in the north of the province of Cáceres; in the third part, we study three phonetic features that have been considered Astur-Leonese in some cases and Castilian in others.
